Usage Recommendations
Within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA), anti-static tape should be used instead of standard tapes that generate high static charges, in order to comply with standards such as ANSI/ESD S20.20 regarding the control of insulative materials at workstations. For specific types-such as high-temperature masking tape-using a rubber roller to apply pressure ensures optimal results and complete adhesion. Do not use the product beyond its specified maximum temperature (e.g., 150°C or 300°C for high-temperature tapes) or maximum exposure duration, as this may result in performance degradation or adhesive residue.
Storage Guidelines
Store the tape indoors in a dry, well-ventilated environment with a relatively constant temperature (approximately 20°C/68°F). Avoid direct sunlight, UV exposure, high humidity, and high temperatures. It is recommended to store rolls flat and rotate them periodically to prevent deformation or uneven adhesive distribution; inventory management should follow the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) principle.
For tape stored longer than one year, users should re-evaluate its performance to ensure suitability for the intended application before use. Certain tapes (such as high-temperature tapes) should not be exposed to UV light or temperatures exceeding specifications for extended periods, as this can cause material aging and performance degradation.
