The diameter of the conveyor's transport rollers and the minimum pulley diameter for the conveyor belt must comply with relevant regulations.
Polyimide tape should be stored in a warehouse, protected from direct sunlight and rain; avoid contact with acids, alkalis, oils, or organic solvents; keep clean and dry; store at least 1 meter away from heating devices; and maintain an ambient temperature between -15°C and 40°C.
Select the type and specifications of anti-static tape reasonably based on operational needs and specific conditions.
Do not join or use polyimide (PI) tapes of different varieties, specifications, models, strength ratings, or numbers of fabric plies together.
If signs of premature damage to the "Golden Finger" tape (polyimide tape) are detected during use, identify the cause and repair it promptly to prevent adverse consequences.
Use a crane and a spreader beam with slings to lift the conveyor belt steadily during loading and unloading to prevent edge damage; avoid rough handling that could cause the roll to loosen or telescope.
Prevent the polyimide tape from snaking or creeping; ensure idlers and vertical rollers rotate freely, and maintain appropriate tension.
Conveyor belt joints should preferably be made using hot vulcanization to ensure reliability and maintain high effective strength.
When the conveyor is equipped with baffles or cleaning devices, ensure they do not cause abrasion to the polyimide tape.
Cleanliness is essential for the proper operation of polyimide tape; foreign matter can cause belt misalignment, uneven tension, or even breakage.
Polyimide tape should be stored in rolls without folding; if stored for an extended period, the rolls should be turned over once per season.
